SIA Econome (hereinafter - Econome or we) treats the data protection transferred to it responsibly and observes the principles of data processing in accordance with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU Regulation 2016/679, hereinafter - the Regulation). As part of the services provided by Econome, we respect the confidentiality and privacy of the information provided by customers.

The purpose of the privacy policy is to provide information on the processing of personal data, the purpose and justification of the data processing, the protection of personal data and the rights of the data subject.

Glossary

Personal data - any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual ("data subject"); an identifiable individual is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as the name, identification number, location, online identifier or one or more physical, physiological, genetic, factors of spiritual, economic, cultural or social identity.

Processing - any operation or set of operations on personal data or sets of personal data carried out with or without automated means, such as collection, registration, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation or modification, retrieval, viewing, use, disclosure, transmission by distributing or otherwise making them available, harmonization or combination, restriction, deletion or destruction.

Controller - legal entity or individual who determines the purposes and means of personal data processing; where the purposes and means of such processing are determined by Union or Member State law, the controller or the specific criteria for its designation may be specified in Union or Member State law.

Data subject - a person whose personal data is processed (e.g. an individual, a customer, a website user or a contact person of a legal entity).

Consent of the data subject - freely given, specific, deliberate and unambiguous indication of the data subject's wishes by which he or she consents to the processing of his or her personal data in the form of a statement or affirmative action.

Principles of data processing

Econome processes personal data in accordance with the principles set out in the Regulation:

lawfulness, integrity and transparency - personal data are processed lawfully, fairly and in a way that is transparent to the data subject;
purpose limitation - personal data are collected for specific, explicit and legitimate purposes and no further processing is performed in ways that are not compatible with those purposes;
data minimization - personal data are adequate, relevant and include only what is necessary for the purposes of their processing;
accuracy - personal data are accurate and, where necessary, updated; all reasonable steps are taken to ensure that personal data which are inaccurate, having regard to the purposes for which they are processed, are erased or rectified without delay;
storage limit - personal data are stored in a form which permits identification of data subjects, no longer than necessary for the purposes for which the personal data are processed;
integrity and confidentiality - personal data are processed in a manner that ensures the required personal data security, including protection against unauthorized or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction or damage, by using appropriate technical or organizational measures.

Legitimacy of processing

Econome processes personal data to ensure the performance of the contract in order to fulfill legal obligations based on a legitimate interest or with the consent of the data subject.

We process personal data:

if the data subject has consented to the processing of his or her personal data for one or several specific purposes;

for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party of or for taking measures as per request of the data subject prior to the signing of the contract;
to perform legal obligations applicable to us, which are determined by regulatory enactments;

to promote the development of our business, analyze the efficiency of the website, improve the quality of our services and the topicality and relevance of the offer.

Econome processes personal data that is directly related to and received from the data subject (customer) or indirectly received (corporate customers), if the processing of this data is necessary for the provision of the service.

The data subject may withdraw his or her consent to the processing at any time.

Acquisition and purpose of personal data

We collect and process such personal data to the extent that the data subject voluntarily provides us by e-mail, filling in the automated tool for individual communication with the client (chatbot) on the website, as well as transferred by other means of direct communication. The purpose of data acquisition and processing is to provide the data subject (customer) with the necessary individual information and / or service.

When using the website's automated communication tool (chatbot), it is necessary to provide the minimum personal data information - name, surname and e-mail address so that we can start communication if the conversation with the customer does not take place online and so that we can get back to you with response. The data subject / customer may also provide more detailed information, including contact information and other personal data, within the framework of the question or service of interest.

We use the collected personal data to:

provide appropriate, efficient and high quality customer support;

provide the necessary services and provide consultations, in accordance with the client's claim and in accordance with legal (regulatory) legislation;

comply with the requirements of regulatory enactments;

offer the services of our company;

send informative messages, if the client has given consent to receive such;

conduct customer satisfaction surveys;

analyze the effectiveness of our website.

Legal bases for personal data processing

The legal basis for data processing is the voluntary consent of the data subject, based on the ability to provide the required volume and quality of service to the data subject :

consent - the person (data subject) has given consent to have his or her personal data processed for one or several specific purposes;
performance of the contract - data processing arises from the company's contractual obligations with the customer or, in compliance with the personal request, data processing is necessary in order to enter into a relevant contract;
legal obligation - the processing of personal data is necessary for the controller to perform an obligation specified in EU or national law;
observance of the legitimate interests of the controller or a third party. Such ground for processing personal data shall be admissible only if it is verified that the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject are not significantly affected, especially if the data subject is a child. This paragraph shall not apply to the processing of personal data by national and local authorities in the performance of their tasks.

We may transfer your information to third parties in order to fulfill our legal obligations, comply with regulatory requirements, cooperate with supervisory authorities, help prevent criminal activity and protect the legitimate interests and rights of individuals.

Data protection

Econome applies the necessary organizational and technological measures to protect the personal data transferred to it. These measures include limited access to personal data, staff briefing, secure and appropriate management of the IT infrastructure.

Regardless of the personal data protection measures taken, Econome has the right and/or obligation to provide information or data upon request to an organization or person legally entitled to request such data (e.g., national police, court, supervisory authority, State Revenue Service, Financial Intelligence Service, etc.), the provision of personal data and information is performed only to the extent requested.

Storing of personal data

Econome shall retain the personal data obtained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which the personal data obtained are processed, unless otherwise required by legal obligations or laws and regulations.

Data is obtained and stored in accordance with regulatory enactments (for example, Audit Services Law, Accounting Law, Money Laundering and Proliferation Prevention Law, Sanctions Law), data retention period is determined in accordance with the terms specified in the relevant regulatory enactments.

Econome securely destroys and / or deletes personal data if the purpose of the processing of personal data has been achieved or the storage period of personal data has expired.

Rights of the data subject

The data subject has the right to receive information about processing of his or her personal data. The data subject can obtain information about the personal data of the data subject at the disposal of Econome by sending a request to the e-mail address info@econome.lv.

As it is Econome duty to ensure the security and non-disclosure of personal data in order to verify the data applicant's right to receive the requested information, the applicant must prove his or her identity or the right to request the specified personal data.

The data subject has the right to:

the deletion of personal data, if the personal data were processed on the basis of the consent of the data subject;
restrict the processing of personal data;
to data portability.
